Rugby League Club
The Comboyne 'Tigers' is the local rugby league club and the showground is their home ground. They are part of the Hastings League and have been very successful in the past and again in recent years.
Clay Group
The Clay Modelling Group meet and work together on Thursday mornings. There are some amazing pieces, which can be seen around Comboyne homes and gardens.
Comboyne Wine Night
Wine Night is held once a month on a Saturday night. It’s not about the wine, just a great way to meet new friends and find out how to get involved in the great things that happen in Comboyne.
Man Cave
Byabarra menfolk come together once every 2nd month on a Friday evening. This is a chance for men to come together to learn & discuss
relevant rural topics, have a meal and a drink together. The women usually meet at The Byabarra at the same time.
Comboyne Tennis Club
Comboyne has 3 rebound ace courts, where competition and social tennis are played. Judging by the laughter coming from the courts, they enjoy their games. The courts are available for hire.

Book Club
'Literally Lost' meets on a Thursday night once a month.
They have read some amazing books - and one or two duds! The group welcomes new book lovers!

Its a stitch up
This group meets at the Byabarra Hall every Saturday from 2-5pm. Members come together to pursue individual and group sewing and craft projects. Items like split-back gowns & “At Peace” bags are made for our regional Wauchope Palliative Care Unit.
Craft Group
The craft group meet at 10am on Thursday mornings, in the room at the back of the union church. They bring and share morning tea. If you run into trouble with anything you are working on, this is where you go for help.
Byabarra Wine Night
Byabarra Wine Night is held every second month on a Saturday night. It’s a great way to meet the locals in a fun, social setting.
Walking Comboyne
Creative Comboyne Association Walking Group walks a different part of the plateau every Monday for an hour starting at 8am. Most Monday walks are along Comboyne back roads but we sometimes organise longer more adventurous walks. Everyone welcome! Byabarra has two courts for social and competition tennis. Competition tennis follows the school terms and social tennis is on during holiday times. The courts are also available for hire.
