Comboyne Museum Sneak Preview
8th April 2023
Update (August 2021)
The Lease from Port Macquarie Hastings Council is now in its fifth year!!
We have come so far and can now boast a lovely restored farmhouse and a large exhibition shed at the rear.

We are currently working on the new toilet block, entrance and parking area which will be completed from funds from a successful application to the Stronger Country Community Fund Grants.
We are eagerly waiting to hear the results of a grant to restore the fireplace and chimney, made from Federation bricks.
The grounds are looking lovely, thanks to the wonderful team of volunteers who give their time to come to working bees and who help to make sure that the museum will be a permanent home to provide secure artefact storage for the Comboyne Community.
Update (July 2021)
The museum is now full restored!

Follow the refurbishment with these updates
One of the original farmhouses, which sits on an acre of land in Comboyne, has been leased to the Comboyne Community Association.
Stage 1 of the restoration will provide secure artefact storage for the communities historical collection showcasing early timber and dairy farming industries.
There will be a large shed to house the restored farming equipment and an attractive landscaped garden and picnic area.
Stage 2 and 3 will see the arrival of a Men's shed and Artist in residence program.
